Each week one of the members of The Indie Exchange will be showcasing one of their covers and telling us the story behind it.
This week’s featured cover is from Looking Through Blind Eyes by Reyna Hawk.
Reyna Hawk says:
“I wanted the cover to reflect the basic core theme of the book. I wanted to show the dealings of the mob, the involvement of the FBI, and the use of “blood money”. I sent the original idea to a friend of a friend (Bryan Meehan) and he created an absolute awesome cover. Once I sent that image to the publishers they revamped it and turned it into what is seen now.
I want the readers to draw a sense of intrigue from the cover and to get a feel of what the book is about. I want there to be a sense of mystery and for it to peak the reader’s curiosity of the contents and storyline. This is book one in a series of three and the other two books will have similar designs as well.”
