News: SwanSong named as a 2012 Global Ebook Award Finalist

SwanSong, a novel by Lynne Cantwell, has been named a finalist for a 2012 Global Ebook Award in the category of Classic Fantasy.  Winners will be announced in mid-August.

The novel is based on the Irish tale of “The Fate of the Children of Lir.”  A jealous woman curses her four stepchildren to live for nine hundred years as swans.  But the curse goes awry and the children are only partially transformed.  SwanSong is the story of the children’s struggle to cope with their changed lives in a world where magic is dying.

Lynne Cantwell is the author of three fantasy novels.  Her newest book, Fissured: Book Two of the Pipe Woman Chronicles, will be released August 18, 2012.  Learn more about Lynne and her work.
