Each Tuesday a member of The Indie Exchange will be sharing their trailer and the story behind it. This week, it’s Solitaire Parke and Vengeance of the Wolf.
Solitaire Parke says: “The Trailer for “Vengeance of the Wolf” needed to be short, sweet and to the point, but the point wasn’t to tell the synopsis. It was to give a new feeling and create an ambience that would lend credence to the book’s mysteries. Moreover, it needed to be an invitation.
Most of the feelings portrayed are all about sound bites and the promises or threats they bring. The verbiage displayed had to be snippets, to give the potential reader an idea but with little or no discloser.
In the end, it needed to be informative about where to go to receive total closure. I have no idea whether or not I achieved what I was trying to accomplish, but with any luck…people will enjoy it. Oh, and one more thing…Trailers are supposed to be fun!”
About the book
Detective John Yardley and FBI agent, Frank Williams are on a quest. They are determined to stop a manipulative, unknown mass murderer, whose targets seem to be specific politicians in a bizarre and maniacal killing spree…one that draws them into a world of dreams and nightmares beyond their wildest imaginations. Awaiting them are unbelievable terrors, chilling twists and turns, and a scope of destruction that they would never have believed possible.
